PLANNING YOUR GROUP EVENT

RESERVATION INFORMATION - We encourage you to make your reservations at least one month in advance in order for us to adequately prepare for your group program or activity. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Topics are subject o change depending on the staffing and weather conditions.

Our programs are divided into five categories:

• Outdoor Adventure
• Environmental Experience
• Teambuilding and Leadership
• Cultural and Living History
• Just for Fun

Programs can be modified for almost any group.  A program curriculum, complete with vocabulary words, is also available to group leaders upon request.  In addition to the programs described, a variety of slide shows, videos and other programs are available.  Contact the Programming Department at 770-975-4227 to schedule a program or for more information.

HOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR GROUP - Contact the Programming Department and give the following information:

1. Name, address, and phone number of organization
2. Name of group leader
3. Preferred date of program and alternate date
4. Time of arrival and desired length of program(s)
5. Number of participants and age, along with the number of chaperones or leaders attending
6. Facility needs

Fees Required: Program rates are broken down into the following categories: Student, General Public, Corporate and Teambuilding/Leadership.  There are scholarships available to assure that no one will be denied programming services.  No refunds will be given for shortened or deleted programs due to late arrivals.  Postponement 24 hours in advance or other programs may be substituted due to inclement weather.  If your groups must cancel, call as soon as possible.
